We’re on a journey to put wise stewardship into simple, practical, ethical, everyday practice.

My frugal journey began  about five years ago (you can read about how I started couponing), but it wasn’t until March 2009 that I started blogging about it.

Our choice to live frugally isn’t so much about  saving money for the sake of saving (or living better) as it is about maintaining a lifestyle that allows us to manange all we’ve been given in ways that most please God and bless others.

Then in 2012, I felt God impressing upon my heart that faithful stewardship wasn’t just about saving money, but also about managing my time and talents wisely…so these things are now part of the core vision of Simple Saving Savvy.

Here’s a quick overview of what you’ll find here at Simple Saving Savvy….

Oklahoma Grocery Deals

I focus on bringing you deals for the state of Oklahoma particularly the OKC metro area. I cover Homeland Crest Foods, Sprouts Farmers Market and Uptown Grocery Co. on a weekly basis.

National Chain Deals

Every week I’ll post a list of the BEST deals along with coupon match ups for national chains like Target, CVS , Walgreens and occasionally Walmart.

Printable Coupons

To save you time, you can print coupons from a variety of sources right here at  Simple Saving Savvy. I’ll keep you updated on the newest offers from Coupons.com, Coupon Network, Redplum and SmartSource.com. I’ll also post about other printable offers from various sources on the internet.

And be sure to check out our Printable Coupon Database.

I do receive a small kickback when you print certain coupons from my site. You can read my full disclosure policy here.

Oklahoma Insert Database

I maintain an on-site database of insert coupons we receive in Oklahoma. This saves time because you don’t have to weed through national database that include coupons from all regions.

Savvy Saving Tips

I’ll also help you explore creative ways to save time and money outside of using coupons both in the home and in the kitchen. From re-purposing to organization to family friendly recipes to freezer cooking , to DIY projects to homemade laundry detergent. Not only will you save, you might have a little fun too.

Shopping Savvy Segments

Shopping Savvy is an ongoing series of tips to help you be a smarter shopper. We’ll cover topics ranging from coupon strategy to store policies to customer rewards programs to social networking perks and more!

Blog Series

From time to time I blog a series of articles to encourage intentional living or focus on specific areas of  the money saving game.  You might want to check out:  Bargain Shopping Balance and Simple When to Buy Guide.

Blessing Others

Be sure to check out my list of non-profit, faith-based organizations that would be so blessed by your generous donations of time, money or some of the products you get for free and cheap every day. And watch the store deals posts for the [st] icon to show you which deals would make excellent donation items.

Coupon Classes

I also offer limited private coupon classes with day & evening times available. I have done coupon classes for “girlfriend get-togethers”, churches, MOPS and other Mom groups. You may inquire about a private class by contacting me directly.

About Me

I’m Amanda…Christ follower, Wife, Mother, Step-mother, Home Manager, Frugalista and the person behind the blog.

I’m married to an amazing, God-fearing, faithful, rock-solid man (the Hubs) who also happens to be an awesome father. We have six wonderfully unique (and challenging) children between us, five of which are still at home. When we married a little over six years ago, I became a stay at home mom.

I like fine dining, a good book, going to garage sales, hunting through thrift stores and laughing until I cry.

I also have a soft spot for  diet Dr. Pepper, Hostess Ding Dongs, shoes, coffee with my girlfriends and date night with the Hubs  (not necessarily in that order). And let’s not leave out office supply stores, free online shipping with no minimum and the Hobby Lobby clearance aisles.

I love the Proverbs 31 wife. Not because she’s perfect and certainly not because she’s busy…but because she’s intentional and strives to do her best for the glory of God. He is her source for all that she endeavors and she stands in awe of His power. I want to end each and every day being able to say  “today I have lived intentionally“.

And hopefully, someday, my God will say “well done my good and faithful servant“. Or in the least case scenario, my husband and children will rise up and call me blessed!

Be blessed today!
