Looking for a frugal Valentine’s Day centerpiece ?
Last year at Valentine’s Day, I decided to dress up the table for our regular family dinner at the last minute. I needed to throw together a quick centerpiece with what I had on hand. What I came up with turned out to be very elegant, frugal and functional.
Here’s how:
Items needed for your Frugal Valentine’s Day Centerpiece:
- Glass cake stand or platter
- Glass candle holder & candle (a larger size is better but any size with work)
- 3-5 Tea light or votive holders w/ candles
- Brownies cut into heart shapes
- Whole strawberries
How to Make the Valentine’s Day Brownie Centerpiece
- Place the glass candle holder w/ candle in the center of the glass cake stand/platter
- Place heart-shaped brownies in a circle around the candle holder with the points facing out.
- Scatter whole strawberries in between brownies
- Place centerpiece in the middle of the table and scatter tea lights/votives around it.
- Light the candles.
How do you frugally decorate for Valentine’s Day?
