The Hubs and I don’t do Valentine’s Day. Not really. I mean, we go on a date, but it’s really just another excuse to go on a date. And we really don’t go anywhere any nicer than we normally would on a normal date. And we don’t go all out on gifts. So yeah, we really don’t do Valentine’s Day.
Until now…
I saw this awesome idea for 14 Days of Valentines and I’ve decided to do it for the Hubs.
It’s a little corny, alot cheesy, and I think it will make my honey feel very special, although he won’t put it into so many words (for those of you who know my husband, you understand exactly what I mean – man of VERY few words, that one).
If you’re looking for something fun and frugal to do for your special someone (or even your children) check this out:
So basically, there are 14 Days of Valentines. Each day brings a small gift with a cheesy Valentine’s Day play on words attached to it.
The cool thing is that Ashley from Mommy by day Crafter by night has done all the work for you. She’s given you all the gift ideas, all the cheesy one liners and even has FREE printable tags for you to download!
All you’ll have to do is make a trip to the Dollar Store or perhaps Walmart to pick up a few supplies and you’re done. Easy peasy.
I’ve decided to use some of Ashley’s ideas, but I’ve also added in a few of my own, because let’s face it…the Hubs doesn’t do pop rocks.
